Child Prodigy East and South, in Lee's Summit, are licensed childcare centers seeking Lead Teachers to support our Toddler and Two-Year-Old classrooms!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, classroom experience and the ability to pass all background checks. 

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, Full-time, 8am-5pm OR 8:30am-5:30pm 

Compensation: $15 - $16/hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides. 
  • Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently. 
  • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. 
  • Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
