Child Prodigy of Lee's Summit, (South and East locations) are licensed childcare centers seeking Full-time Floater Teachers to support all age groups, infants-prek!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!  

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Compensation: $15-16/hour based on education and experience.

Main Job Responsibilities:  

  • Willingness to support the center as needed. This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members.  
  • Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.  
  • Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.   
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
