Origination and Feed Sales
Description
Chief Ethanol Fuels is seeking an Origination and Feed Sales professional to join the Chief team. This position creates grain contracts and facilitates feed sales for Chief Ethanol. It is also responsible for developing strong relationships with local grain suppliers and feed customers, collaborating with the logistics team on delivery/pick-up schedules, and assisting with the process of incoming and outgoing payments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and customers.
- Negotiate grain and feed prices that are favorable to the company while also meeting a fair value for the supplier/customer.
- Enter and maintain customer feed orders in IFS.
- Analyze current and future market conditions and communicate market trend opinions to management.
- Ensure that grain contracts are delivered to suppliers and signed.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics or a related field is preferred.
