Description

Chief Buildings is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for invoicing and providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department. Responsibilities include processing coop credit memos, preparing reports, and processing some end of month transactions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices to customers on a daily and end of month basis.
  • Match payments to invoices to ensure correct payment has been received.
  • Create and maintain various spreadsheets, such as the sales forecast.
  • Assist the credit manager with credit applications.
  • Reconcile employee receivables and procurement card transactions.
  • Assist customers with account questions.

 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • Proven accounting or clerical experience gained through related coursework or relevant on the job experience
  • Experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, a ten-key calculator, and accounting software
  • Associate level degree or relevant certification a plus
