Senior Operator
Description
Chief Ethanol is seeking a Senior Operator to join the Chief team. This position is responsible for operating, control and troubleshooting process areas of the ethanol production facility while maintaining quality and efficiency goals. The operator may work in different areas or positions including relief support for Production Supervisor and special assignment as set by the Production Supervisor and/ or Production Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a personal knowledge of all aspects of ethanol plant, ethanol and co-product load out and chemical unloading operations.
- Follow all descriptions and requirements for specific position that is being performed.
- Provide direction, leadership and instruction to production operators to allow efficient plant operations.
- Assist Shift Supervisor as requested in helping control other areas including work permits and maintenance work orders.
- Respond to collected data and make adjustments to optimize plant operations.
Education:
- High School Diploma, or GED, required.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- 1-2 years of job related experience
- Understanding of math and chemical process systems
- Detailed knowledge of at least three operator positions including Control Operator.
