Fabrication Supervisor

Chief Fabrication Manufacturing/Production Grand Island, Nebraska


Chief Fabrication is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to join the Chief team. This position will provide supervisory direction and oversight for the production and personnel of the Fabrication department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Insures proper utilization of machines (including lasers, punches and saws), tools, equipment and personnel to meet production requirements.
  • Maintains compliance to all safety and quality control procedures and standards.
  • Trains and directs 20+ employees in the production area.
  • Directs leadpersons and operators in procedures to assure smooth production flow and to improve material handling methos.
  • Completes all required production records and reports. Responsible for the accurate maintenance of labor on daily time cards.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • 5 – 7 years of experience.
  • Requires knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality procedures and personnel supervision.
