Chief Ethanol Fuels is seeking a Scale Clerk to join the Chief team. This position is responsible for weighing all inbound shipments that cross the front scale and grading all inbound grain. Balance daily ScaleTrac reports and check tickets for accuracy. Monitors outside contractors coming on site to make sure the proper check-in procedures are followed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Weighs all grain feed, ethanol, and chemical trucks.
  • Grades all inbound grain.
  • Coordinate the daily/weekly shipping schedule with grain purchaser.
  • Reconciles daily ScaleTrac reports.
  • Manages scale software and works with IT to resolve them.
  • Trains others for scale back up.
  • Checks grain tickets for accuracy.
  • Helps with general office and housekeeping duties.
  • Support accounting department and Ethanol division by performing other projects as needed.
  • Assist with the planning of company events.
  • Reconcile loadout spreadsheet to P&I report twice a month.

 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • 1-3 years related work experience.
  • Requires knowledge of office routines, computer, and keyboard skills.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically excel.
