Administrative Assistant
Description
Chief Buildings is seeking a Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this position you will perform various clerical and facility support tasks that require knowledge of standard office practices with Chief Buildings procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards.
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering phone calls, taking messages, directing inquiries, and managing incoming emails, mail, and faxes.
- Welcome and assist office visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide vital clerical and organizational support to both office and plant operations.
- Draft, format, and proofread business correspondence, reports, and routine communications.
- Accurately process invoices and timecards and perform basic bookkeeping functions.
- Monitor and maintain office inventory across the plant, order supplies as needed and ensure copy machines are stocked and serviced.
- Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.
Education:
- High School Diploma, or GED preferred
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Must be a leader and a difference maker with a high level of communication and organizational skills.
- Must possess accountability and have a customer focus.
- Must possess knowledge and ability to use computers, copiers/ printers, and calculators.
Shift:
- 1st Shift-6:00am-4:30pm
- Full-time or part-time, based on candidate selection.
