Chief Fabrication is seeking a Shipping Assistant to join the Chief team. This position will properly prepare labels, documents and production parts that are requiring shipment. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Load flatbed or semi-trailers with finished production parts by placing, rearranging and securing loads to be transported safely to the customer.
• Assures that correct quantities are being shipped and properly documented on shipping documents.
• Marks, labels and identifies product and parts with proper identification and destination.
• Uses forklift, crane and other material handling equipment to move production parts.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Requires 1-3 years in operational knowledge of industrial shipping processes and material handling equipment.
• Must have good computer skills using our customer portal sites and our internal ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.

Shift:

• 1st Shift – 6:00am – 2:30pm
