Chevo Consulting is currently hiring a Recruiter to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity to support the recruiting efforts of a growing Management Consulting organization and be instrumental in the growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting experience in sourcing for Project Management, Project Scheduling, Financial Management, Budgeting, and Acquisition positions for a Management Consulting firm that delivers services to Federal clients. This position is a hybrid opportunity, with office location in Rockville, MD.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with hiring managers to create job requisitions; assist with defining and validating key position requirements (e.g., defining education, experience, technical knowledge, and competencies)
  • Source, recruit, and pre-screen candidates for a variety of positions 
  • Assess candidates to determine whether their capabilities match job requirements and company culture
  • Schedule and set up telephone/in-person interviews
  • Work with managers to maintain an appropriate candidate pipeline 
  • Accurately document and track candidates in the applicant tracking system (Jobvite)
  • Implement recruiting strategies that will keep candidates in the pipeline for upcoming contracts
  • Comply with government and human resources laws, policies, and procedures including OFCCP compliance
  • Attend networking events as appropriate

Required Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five (5+) years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, preferably for a government consulting company
  • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Experience in sourcing candidates utilizing social media as well as traditional job board recruiting methods
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers and staff

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience in a government consulting environment
  • Experience with creating and executing a sourcing strategy
  • Experience in salary negotiations, recruiting best practices, and the ability to recruit for a variety of positions
  • Ability to be flexible, be able to multi-task, and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively provide valuable and timely customer service to candidates, line management, and senior level management
  • General human resources knowledge and understanding of common staffing metrics and functions
  • Knowledge of government contracting is a plus
