Chevo is currently hiring an experienced Program Analysts - Business Intelligence/Data Analytics to join our expanding firm. This consultant will learn the client’s business better and become their trusted advisor. The ideal candidate will have detailed experience to improve data-driven decision making through the effective use of both qualitative and quantitative data. The individual shall provide business intelligence and data analyst, along with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to enhance security of our nation. Experienced with relational databases to develop online analytical dashboards and other tools to generate graphical data visualizations for collaboration among stakeholder groups. This position is on-site with our client in the Metro DC area, with some telework permissible. (Hybrid) 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Assists in examining business requirements and needs, collecting information, and identifying alternative methods and solutions.  Supports strategic planning, training development, quality management, and business process reengineering.
  • Design/Develop a standardized data management framework across Software Applications and Services (SAS) team to improve accountability, transparency, and reliability.
  • Deliver analytics using CBP tools to derive actionable insights from data, supporting SAS’s strategic objectives, organizational analysis, and support for priorities.
  • Define best practices and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program and system performance.
  • Design/Develop performance trend models, predictive analytics, and reports to anticipate and mitigate potential risks.
  • Develop interactive metrics dashboards with audience-specific outputs to maximize the usefulness of the information for each management level.
  • Develop performance data collection tools and/or mechanisms to streamline and automate performance management reporting
  • Documents complex business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement
  • Ability to interface with senior business decision-makers in a professional manner to understand their requirements and analyze these requirements in order to plan, execute, and manage the delivery
  • Experience in business process improvement and developing process flows
  • Develops and reviews program and project documentation and client briefings.
Required Qualifications: 
  • Journeyman:  Bachelor's or Master's degree along with three to ten (3-10) years’ experience preferably developing workflows, applications, and dashboards
  • Senior: Master's degree along with ten 10) years’ experience preferably developing workflows, applications, and dashboards
  • Ability to build dashboards to visualize complex data
  • Ability to pass client clearance requirements. CBP Clearance is desired.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and JIRA is beneficial but not required
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and performance management metrics is useful but not required.
SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $135,000
