Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced AVP, AI Operations to lead our AI adoption strategy and manage across our portfolio of internal AI initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption, integration, and optimization of AI technologies across the firm, ensuring they deliver measurable value. As the chief evangelist for AI within the firm, the AVP will lead cross-functional collaboration across knowledge management, learning, analytics, and other departments to develop a cohesive AI strategy, oversee the secure and effective rollout of AI tools, and maximize the return on our AI investments. This position requires an experienced leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring that AI capabilities are seamlessly embedded into the firm's operations for long-term impact.

 

This role will be part of our Analytics function, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the evaluation, deployment, adoption, and scaling of AI tools and services across the firm, ensuring smooth and compliant implementation
  • Develop and oversee our internal AI product portfolios, managing internal applications and assessing potential areas of opportunity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Knowledge Management, Learning, and Analytics, to develop and deploy AI-driven solutions, and create metrics to track adoption and ROI
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and trends, making recommendations to enhance firmwide AI capabilities.
  • Establish and enforce AI responsible use guidelines to ensure ethical and secure AI practices
  • Serve as an AI evangelist, strategic advisor, and business analyst, helping teams understand and leverage AI for operational and competitive advantage.
  • In collaboration with our Learning team, design and deliver training and support programs to maximize AI adoption and effectiveness across the organization

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • 10+ years of experience working in a technology or professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (ideally in a technical field); Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MA, MS, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a large healthcare, technology, or professional services organization. Background in product management, software development, or analytics is preferred
  • Proven experience in AI operations, Analytics, or Process Improvement, with a focus on overseeing the deployment of technology-enabled solutions
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in a business context. Experience with AI tools such as Copilot for Microsoft 365, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Glean, etc. preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Role location is flexible; must be able to travel occasionally to firm and department meetings
  • Passion for materially improving the delivery of healthcare in the world

 

Salary range: $165,000-$180,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
