Role Overview

Engagement Managers in our Clinical Transformation line of business are integral members of our consulting teams, leading Analysts, Associate Consultants and Consultants on projects with healthcare provider clients typically spanning 3-6 months in duration. Our projects are focused in the following areas: consumer access, care delivery, and high performing medical group.

 

Responsibilities

l   Manage the overall project, balancing work effort and input from clients and  colleagues to achieve goals 

l   Act as a trusted advisor to clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights 

l   Coach and mentor junior staff, rapidly developing their skills and knowledge through an apprenticeship-based development model 

l   Produce sophisticated, compelling deliverables that motivate clients to action 

l   Support the firm’s growth through contributions to talent initiatives, thought leadership development, and other areas 

 

Qualifications and Desired Skills

l   Minimum of 6 years’ experience working with healthcare providers, including medical groups, on clinical transformation initiatives

l    Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing others in a consulting environment

l    Experience leading initiatives focused on addressing nursing or physician burnout, as well as improving retention, is highly desirable.

l    Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH)

l    Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills

l    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

l    Strong and effective people leader

l    Proficient in Microsoft office; experience with Tableau is a plus

 

Salary range: $150,000-$220,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
