Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketer to work with two of our transformational lines of business (LOBs) to develop and execute their marketing strategy and initiatives. This role will partner with LOB leadership and consulting operations to develop and execute integrated marketing programs that enhance visibility, attract potential clients, and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative and both a strategic thinker and doer who can build on our existing marketing foundation and help fuel Chartis’ next stage of growth.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Working with AVP of Marketing and CMO, develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for specific LOBs, including market analysis, target audience identification, messaging, and competitive positioning.
- Go-to-Market Programs: Design, execute, and manage integrated marketing programs, that include digital marketing, sponsorships and events, and thought leadership initiatives. Coordinate across the Marketing team to execute and integrate efforts, as applicable, to tell a cohesive and comprehensive story to the market around priority areas.
- Content: Teaming with Director of Content, develop and oversee the execution of the content strategy for the LOB, engaging in the creation of high-quality thought leadership and marketing materials such as case studies, articles, surveys, collateral, and social content.
- Channel Partnerships & Sponsorships: Build a strong LOB channel partner strategy to advance strategic relationships with industry associations, influencers, and referral sources, designed to increase brand awareness, develop relationships, and generate leads. Oversee execution and measurement of LOB sponsorships and events, working closely with sponsorships and events team, client serving teams, and other internal resources.
- Relationships and collaboration: Establish executive relationships serving as the strategic marketing advisor for LOB and practice leadership. Earn trust and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
- Measurement and optimization: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs and tactics, providing regular leadership updates and bringing new, creative ideas to help advance marketing efforts against defined goals.
- Innovation: Stay up to date on marketing best practices, technologies, and tools used by world-class marketing organizations, bringing forward fresh ideas and insights to strengthen our marketing function.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing roles, preferably in a consulting or professional services firm.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive awareness and business growth, ideally within a service line or line of business.
- An innovative mindset with the ability to think strategically and a willingness to execute tactically.
- Strong organizational skills and project management skills – with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/priorities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective writing, storytelling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in managing sponsorships and planning/executing events.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to be flexible, work in ambiguous situations, and adapt to changing business requirements.
- Creative thinker with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Salary range: $100,000 – $130,000, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
