JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Controller is responsible for all financial transactions of the primary operating company   as well as several other companies within their umbrella. The Controller accounts for the revenue of the company’s broker principals and real estate associates as well as the operations. The role requires an individual to work independently using sound judgement, by exceeding deadlines and by providing extraordinary service. The individual must possess a high level of ethical integrity as an individual and be detailed oriented. 
 
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
·      QuickBooks Online all modules; certification a plus.
·      Detail-oriented and demonstrates a “can-do” positive attitude.
·      Self-starter with solid organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
·      Utilizes checklists to ensure work is completed timely
·      Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
·      Strong skills in MS Excel and Word. Excel understanding/use of pivot tables, and filtering data
·      Scheduling flexibility and availability to work additional hours during year end reporting.
 
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
·      Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
·      Minimum 1 years’ experience in QuickBooks online all modules
·      Minimum 1 year experience as controller or senior accountant responsible for all company accounting
·      Accounting experience in real estate brokerage office preferred
·      CPA license is a bonus
