What We Are Looking For:  Resident Counselor at our Supportive Apartments
A Supportive residence is a natural stepping stone to help individuals with developmental disabilities lead a more independent life.  As a Resident Counselor at our Supportive Apartments, you will provide the need-based supports and services for those who are living in their own homes/apartments, but DO NOT require 24-hour care.  
  • Support is provided in the individuals home which is usually located in our communities.
  • Support is on an as needed basis and can range from 2-6 hours a day or as needed.
  • Support individuals in exploring activities that allow them to develop life skills and achieve personal goals
  • Be flexible with scheduling based on individuals needs
  • Be self-motivated, creative, and willing to work autonomously
  • Provide transportation when necessary to/from individuals home and community based activities/appointments
  • Document services provided as outlined in individuals service plans
  • Day Time/Evening Hours Available (Between 8am - 7pm)
  • Flexible scheduling options (Full Time + Part Time)

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of related experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to apply for this position
Pay range for this position is $16.81 - $21.36 and is commensurate on experience, shift differentials and completion of additional trainings.
