Senior Solution Consultant PSA
Description
- Developing and managing relationships with customers.
- Working primarily with medium to large-sized organisations with average to high complexity implementations.
- Presenting the application via Web conference tools and via face to face meetings
- Perform key components of remote and onsite implementations of the PSA application. Components may include Base Build Installation, Configuration, Training, Report writing, Data Migration and consulting support
- Responsible for technical specifications, application configuration, unit testing, UAT support, data migration support, knowledge transfer, deployment and post go live support.
- Understand complementary 3rd party applications as part of the overall implementation project
- Understand our customers Professional Services Automation process requirements and assist the project team in redefining processes and translating those technical requirements into a Solution Design Document to form the Architecture of the customer’s build to be delivered both by the core implementation team and to be passed to Custom Development.
- Prepare and deliver standard and custom configuration and training events via web meeting or standard classroom methods
- Responsible for key implementation-related decisions based on best practices and prior experience, in coordination with the project manager and other members of the project team.
- Document best practices specific to our software implementation and assists the Practice organisation by leading efforts to improve methodology and develop service offerings.
- Assist Solution Design Consultants in scoping statements of works.
- Communicate with the wider business. Works with other departments, such as Support. Customer Success, Product and Sales to help drive successful implementations, sales and product improvements.
- As a product expert, influence the engineering and product management teams on issues that may affect the product.
- Influence customers on wider project issues and roadmap decisions about their utilisation of the Certinia solution
- Directly impacts by achieving billable utilisation targets.
- Mentor less experienced members of the Consultancy team
- Extensive & proven experience in complex software implementations with Enterprise customers
- Relevant experience and knowledge of processes, applications, and solutions pertaining to a Certinia and/or Salesforce (or competitor ) product set
- Extensive experience in accounting, supply chain management, or professional services
- Offer relevant and proven product expertise and domain knowledge
- Understanding of cloud technologies and complex information systems
- A background in Professional Services Automation is required including experience with implementing PSA applications or Salesforce
- Professional Services qualification (or demonstrable experience of PSA solutions)
- Effective experience providing consultancy services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast changing, team environment
- The ability to work independently in most situations
- Strong computer skills ideally including Salesforce.com, MS Office and web presentation tools
- 20% Travel EMEA to customers
