THE ROLE

As a Certinia intern, you will be fully emerged within our Sales Enablement team and responsible for several key areas, including:

    The support and execution of Sales enablement & training programs

    Playing a key role participating in the management of training projects and logistics, including coordinating activities, tracking project timelines and priorities, and engaging the right stakeholders

    Help manage tools and resources to support the sales team, administer support of our internal sales enablement learning platform and act as a key liaison for maintaining content for our internal learning management system

    Communicate and connect with sales reps and key stakeholders alike to identify areas of opportunity for training and skill development

    Collect and compile data and metrics to highlight the impact of the sales enablement programs being supported

    Work with Sales Operations and Sales Enablement to streamline continued process improvement efforts

    Ad-hoc enablement projects to improve the enablement program

    Complete an enablement deliverable  as part of your internship program

The role will involve working with one or more internal teams, learning about how they work, and making contributions to their goals and objectives.

You will have a mentor to support, stretch and guide you during your internship.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

 

Responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

    As a Sales Enablement intern, you will be assigned various responsibilities supporting the Sales Organization

    Activities focused on supporting sales performance, data collection, measurement, readiness, and training will be led by the Sales Enablement Manager.

    Some examples of responsibilities may include: 

    Work with various team members to support facilitation of virtual training sessions for the sales and go-to-market teams

    Conduct audits of existing program curricula and presentations to update and refine messaging as well as ensure compliance

    Assist with administrative tasks as assigned

    Assist with data collection and performance measurement activities

    Partner with internal employees across various teams on a wide range of specialized projects 

    Work closely with the Sales Enablement Manager to understand our work intake and execution process 

   Working closely with the manager or assigned staff member, and completing all allocated tasks

   Attending and participating in meetings, workshops and events

   Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions through GAP analysis

   Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

    It is important that you have a passion for producing the highest quality work that ultimately makes Certinia successful

    Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Resourcefulness in getting over problems and establishing clarity

    Strong interest in technology and sales

    Some experience with database data entry is a plus (for example, Salesforce.com)

    Attention to detail

    Self-motivated and coachable

    Determined, team player with a can-do attitude and professional demeanor

    Must be available to start in June

    Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, Business Major (Sales, Marketing, Management, or similar)

    Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship

 

Salary Range: Sales Enablement Intern - (Austin) $25/hr / $1000/wk
