THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting a highly motivated, enthusiastic Implementation Consultant with strong Software Implementation across Accounting/ Finance applications. This individual will be leading the implementation and training of predominantly the Certinia FFA application and related applications in customer environments. Travel within the UK and Europe should be expected.

You will be responsible for ensuring proactive communications to clients and internal stakeholders, whilst managing any enhancement requests and or escalations.

As a Snr Solution Consultant you will be capable of understanding simple to complex business requirements and design a technical solution that meets those needs, driving projects to completion by anticipating the needs of the clients and ensuring the alignment of internal and external stakeholders across the implementation.

This is a varied role which requires travel to our clients sites, working with a wide variety of people, therefore it is essential that you can demonstrate effective communication skills to help simplify technical information across our customer base.

Experience of Salesforce within a Solution Consultant capacity is highly desirable.

A background in finance / accounting is required, including experience with accounting applications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

  • Developing and managing relationships with customers.
  • Presenting the Certinia FFA application via Web conference tools and via face to face meetings
  • Perform key components of remote and onsite implementations of the Certinia FFA application. Components may include Base Build Installation, Configuration, Training, Report writing, Data Migration and consulting support
  • Responsible for technical specifications, application configuration, unit testing, UAT support, data migration support, knowledge transfer, deployment and post go live support.
  • Understand complementary 3rd party applications as part of overall Certinia implementation project
  • Understand client’s accounting process requirements and assist project team redefining processes and translating those requirements into a Solution Design Document to form the architecture of the customer’s build to be delivered both by the core implementation team and to be passed to Custom Development.
  • Prepare and deliver standard and custom configuration and training events via web meeting or standard classroom methods
  • Document best practices specific to Certinia software implementation and assists the practices organisation by leading efforts to improve methodology and develop service offerings.
  • Assists Solution Design Consultants in scoping statements of works.
  • Communicating with the wider business; working with other departments, such as Support, Customer Success, Product and Sales to help drive successful implementations, sales and product improvements.
  • As a product expert, influence the engineering and product management teams on issues that may affect the product.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Experience in Salesforce is highly desirable (other on-premise / SaaS packaged solutions also of interest NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, WorkDay, etc.)
  • Proven and extensive breadth of experience implementing Financial Accounting system across mid-market or enterprise users
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting Financial Accounting systems
  • The benefit of relevant certifications/ qualifications (Salesforce Administrator, recognised accounting qualifications) or demonstrable experience of financial accounting processes and applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English, multi language skills are highly desirable
  • Ability to work in fast changing, team environment
Salary Range: $90K - $123K
