THE ROLE
An integral team member of the Global Total Rewards team, this role is responsible for formulating our compensation strategy, compensation program design (including broad-based compensation and incentive design), managing annual processes, ongoing Equity administration, and supporting Compensation Committee needs. A passion for partnering with HR colleagues and business leaders is key as is a data-driven approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage global compensation plans and programs (pay ranges, annual salary review process, quarterly and semi-annual bonus pay out) to align with and support Certinia’s business strategy and compensation philosophy.
- Participate in and leverage compensation surveys to ensure compensation ranges and structures are competitive; identify trends and offer creative recommendations to support our engagement and retention strategies.
- Deliver competitive analysis and financial impact modeling for annual increase budgets, incentive design changes, and pay equity reviews.
- Manage and maintain our jobs architecture in support of business needs.
- Advisor to business management, Talent Acquisition and Employee Success Business Partners.
- Collaborate and advise on proposed pay and job changes, including evaluating new and revised jobs and/or career paths.
- Lead and/or participate in cross-functional project teams for key compensation initiatives, such as career pathing, training, and the design of new or revised compensation programs.
- Ensure compensation programs, practices, and policies comply with local laws for both our domestic and international employees.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of domestic and international broad-based compensation experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency is required.
- Experience with compensation administration.
- Advanced experience working with compensation vendors, completing pay-related surveys, and staying current with changes in the local markets in which we hire employees.
- Ability to translate business goals into program design
- Strong consultative skills and ability to build solid relationships with Employee Success and Talent Acquisitions teams, and stakeholders at all levels across the business
- Thrive on working with complex issues and generating data-driven, scalable solutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with UKG Pro and HRSoft
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) designation
- Proficiency with Google Suite
