The Certinia Product Management team is looking for a Product Manager to join their expanding organisation, which provides business software solutions on the Salesforce platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and execution of key capabilities within the Certinia application suite.  The majority /core part of the role is devising new features and communicating the business requirements to the engineering teams so that they can deliver them, backlog prioritization, and analyzing business/customer requirements. You will also be involved in roadmap planning & competitive analysis.
This position requires someone with great interpersonal skills, you will need to work with many departments to ensure that the requirements of many stakeholders are incorporated in the products you are responsible for, additionally you will be comfortable communicating with individuals and teams from both technical and commercial backgrounds. You’ll understand the value to our customers that each investment brings.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
 Release Planning & Delivery:
  • Research and prioritize release requirement to deliver on an end to end business process
  • Coordinate with Engineering Managers,, Product Managers, Technical Authors  and User Experience.
  • Collaborate closely with product strategy to shape the product prioritization and roadmap, including taking suggestions and ideas from prospects & customers
  • Break down Product Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) with your engineering team to refine the key epics  and stories and their acceptance criteria.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that features are ready to ship
 Customer Engagement:
  • Frequent interactions with our key customers to gain an understanding of their top business issues, how our solution is addressing business process, gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with customer escalations helping to problem-solve and devise workarounds for any product gaps.
Strategy: 
  • Propose priority investments needed across the product areas to deliver on the promise of a cohesive end to end business process
  • Leverage your knowledge of how organizations work within these end to end business processes to contribute to investment strategy
 Go To Market:
  • Present new functionality to colleagues, customers and partners as part of the new release process.
 
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
  • Fluent written and verbal English language skills
  • Domain knowledge within one or more of the following :
  •  Financials/accounting
  •  Indirect procurement
  •  Supply chain management
  • Experience working in an Agile environment or similar such as System implementation etc.
  • Can apply a systematic approach and able to make decisions with incomplete information
  • A clear understanding of the market and personas we are serving with our solution/s
  • Communication/interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
  • An interest in Product Design / User Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing key decision makers and achieving agreement across teams and regions
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Global mindset. 
WHAT ELSE WOULD BENEFIT THIS ROLE?
  • Previous Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner or Business Analyst in software development, business applications and/or SaaS applications/commercial software company
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform and Lightning Frameworks 
  • Previous experience working on Professional Services, ERP solutions and/or cloud platforms
