Responsibilities

  • Implement UI in a proprietary engine writing C++ and Lua
  • Collaborate with art and design teams
  • Contribute to a large codebase, adding features and improving performance
  • Debug and troubleshoot problems in unfamiliar code through careful analysis and performance tools (such as PIX)
  • Communicate with external partners to resolve issues and develop efficient solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI Engineer
  • Shipped multiple titles as a UI Engineer
  • Strong skills in C++, data structures, and object-oriented design
  • Comfortable in Lua or similar scripting languages
  • Experience with graphics and multithreaded environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Passion for UI/UX and multiplayer FPS games

Extra Credit

  • Development experience in multiple game engines, including proprietary engines
  • Console experience (Xbox One/Xbox Series family preferred)
  • Experience with UE4 UMG and its Blueprint designer panel
  • Experience with additional languages (C#, Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.)
