What You'll Do:

The Land Closing Specialist assists the Corporate Land Acquisition team with all aspects of lot closings, data management, new deal set up, calendar management, and reporting. This position will work with other Corporate Land team members and will report to the Corporate Vice President of Land.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in processing lot closings each week, gathering data from internal and external sources needed to close, and helping ensure accuracy of all documentation.
  • Help update weekly reports.
  • Assist in new deal set up, which includes understanding of new contracts, key dates, and basic contractual/legal language.
  • Assist in preparing acquisition forecasts.
  • Assist Land Acquisition leadership with projects as needed.

What You Have:

  • Understanding of real estate transactions.
  • Comfortable managing data and data input.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to set, track, and meet timelines consistently.
  • Must be skilled in basic Excel, with strong Excel skills a bonus.
  • Must be self-motivated and organized.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task required.
  • Coordination across geographies and organizational levels.
  • Proactively solves problems.
  • Ability to analyze the challenges and overcome, resolve, and conclude on next steps.
  • Familiarity with Title, Liens, HOA and HOA docs.

Your Education & Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in real estate and real estate contracts and closings.
