What You’ll Do:

The Starts Administrator works as part of the Operations Team to ensure that we meet and exceed our monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. This role supports division with the pre-construction home building process, driving the initial steps in building a home that will delight our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Serves as subject matter expert on the home starts process, with a customer service focus.
• Ensure division teams are maintaining pace of business plan for home starts and permits.
• Managing weekly calls with Divisions, driving accuracy, timing, and delivery of home starts and permits.
• Responsible for ensuring all items are in place for releasing a start.
• Maintain and update documents and processes for accuracy.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skill.
• Ability to build, foster and maintain productive relationships to meet goals and achieve results.
• Adept at gathering and accurately analyzing data promptly.
• Takes ownership and responsibility for actions and outcomes, performance, and results.
• Ability to analyze and compare information to understand issue and explore alternative solutions
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Your Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred in administration or a coordinator role.
• Experience working with homebuilding systems such as BuildPro and NewStar is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office suite, and an ability to learn other business software systems.
