Position Summary: 

The Investor Sales Manager role oversees the full lifecycle of Century Complete’s transactions with our larger investor clients.  Working directly with the EVP of Operations, this role is focused helping to cultivate investor buyer relationships, managing our available inventory publications, responding to investor questions, coordinating our Division personnel to ensure timely communication of dates and successful closing of the homes. 


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the EVP of Operations in sales discussions and research activities to understand the investors “buy box” and how Century Complete communities could be responsive to their needs.
  • Researching competition to understand other investor/build for rent offerings and how the Century Complete model can meet or beat those expectations.
  • Working with leadership to analyze existing inventory and pull together an attractive offering of inventory homes to be shared with our existing and expanding investor following.
  • Tracking the receipt of offers and entering sales into the Company’s sales operations system. Assisting our Legal team to draft the appropriate agreements and following those through to execution.
  • Consistent communication with the lead transaction managers for our investor clients. Keeping them appraised of the status of home development, projected walk dates and projected closing dates.  Answering questions about the process as they arise.
  • Coordinating with the local field teams the successful walk and close of the homes under contract.
  • Working with the EVP of Operations, Legal Department and field closing coordinators to drive continuous improvement in our offering and service level.


Knowledge, Skills and Background:

  • Extreme level of organization and communication. Success in this role is driven by knowing the status of our production work and making sure that we communicate that with our investor clients.
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Result oriented, accurate and multi-tasking ability
  • Software skills. Excel expertise and NewStar Enterprise preferred.
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Minimum 1 year within real estate industry or related field.
