What You’ll Do:  
The IT Finance Application Manager oversees the development and strategic implementation of financial applications, specifically IBM TM1 and Planning Analytics, and data consumption platforms such as SSRS and PowerBI. You will work closely with corporate and divisional finance team members to understand business requirements, develop strategic plans, and ensure the effective utilization of technology to support financial goals.  

This position is an on-site role - Greenwood Village, CO

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for developing and maintaining financial applications.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture focused on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Financial Application Development:
    • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of IBM TM1 and Planning Analytics applications to support finance processes.
    • Ensure the applications align with industry best practices, compliance standards, and organizational requirements.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with finance team members to understand business needs and goals.
    • Work closely with finance stakeholders to build and implement strategic plans for financial applications that enhance efficiency and support decision-making.
  • System Optimization:
    • Continuously assess and optimize the performance and functionality of financial applications.
    • Implement improvements to streamline processes, enhance user experience, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with technology vendors, including IBM, to ensure the effective utilization of their products and services.
    • Stay informed about updates, new releases, and emerging technologies in the financial applications space.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

What You Have:  

  • Proven experience in managing teams responsible for IBM TM1 and Planning Analytics application development.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial processes and applications, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Strong project management skills, including prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and Executive leadership.
  • Ability to leverage systems and tools, including ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to successfully implement new technologies.

Your Education and Experience:  

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of IT management experience in development and financial applications or a similar role.
  • A Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is a plus.

Compensation: Century Communities (the "Company") intends to offer the selected candidate an annual base salary in the range of $115k - $135k with the potential for other financial incentives. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and the Company's 401(k) plan.
