Job Purpose:

This role includes the performance of job functions related to residential mortgage post-closing. Responsibilities include mortgage loan document review, system data entry and validation, conducting document follow up and tracking and insuring.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Monitor Shipping/Post Closing Pipelines to ensure timely receipt of original collateral package from Title closing agents to ensure delivery of timely delivery of collateral to the warehouse bank.  

    Receive and review incoming collateral documents for completeness and compliance with signature requirements.

    Prepare shipping of original collateral documents to warehouse banks.

    Prepare Allonge to be shipped with collateral document to Warehouse banks.

    Complete collateral release requests for delivery of collateral from warehouse bank to final investor.

    Monitor final document Pipeline and reports to ensure timely receipt of documents from Title Closing agents and perform follow up for Final Title Policies 

and Recorded Mortgage. 

    Communicate with Title closing agents for missing documents, endorsements, riders or required corrections. 

    Provide follow up to obtain all necessary documentation and deliver to investors within the required investor delivery time frame to avoid fees.

    Monitor external reports and resolve outstanding document requirements.

    Review documentation to verify completeness and accuracy.

    Scan and store final documents and update system data.

    Uploading loan packages to investors and insurers.

    Always enter detailed dates and notes in the appropriate Encompass fields for all tasks completed.

    Work and communicate well with colleagues and team members in an office environment. 

    Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

    One to two years Mortgage post-closing or relatable Industry experience preferred.

    Must be local to the Oak Brook Illinois office or within a desirable commuting distance.

    Ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities. 

    Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a deadline intensive environment.

    Excellent attention to detail, organization, verbal, and written communication skills.

    Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline intensive environment.

    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

    Self-motivated, high level of personal energy and commitment.

    Problem solving skills as well as flexibility and adaptability to fluctuating increases in volume.
