About the Job
The College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS) Enrollment Trainer is a full-time, exempt, remote position that plays an important role in the success of an aggressive growth plan for CCU Online. The primary activities will be to perform and implement new hire onboarding training, as well as continuous observations and coaching for both online and onsite (regional center) locations that will promptly impact increased enrollment growth at the individual and team level.
The CAGS Enrollment Trainer reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment, and will work very closely with the Academic Deans and Enrollment and Marketing management team to provide consistent and standardize training for new Enrollment Counselors (ECs), ongoing training for tenured/experienced ECs, and the management team.

We're looking for candidates who have:
- A minimum of two years of successful experience in training, documentation, needs analysis, high impact design and delivery, and reporting, with a proven track record in sales or enrollment.
- Experience in a college or university environment, particularly a Christian school of higher education is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field and a Master's degree is preferred.
- Ability to present activities and outcomes through analysis and compilation.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional knowledge of advanced PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet software, other MS Office products, Salesforce, Colleague and other related software required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Practical knowledge of sales processes and importance of follow through, in order to enhance and support high performance sales expectations.
- Leadership skills, excellent strategic thinking and conceptual skills.
Key Job Duties
Mission Contribution

In this role, the Enrollment Trainer shares the vision of how a degree or program through CCU will transform prospective students as they obtain their education with a Christian worldview that emphasizes how personal values and ethics can impact education, life, and work.
Onboarding and Training
- Manage channels by adding new hires to appropriate channels, editing statuses when necessary (i.e. ensuring that appropriate parties have contributor or manager status), and ensuring that each team channel has videos regularly added. Update trainings as necessary and remove videos when outdated.
- Provide comprehensive new hire onboarding to new ECs.
- Lead training, coaching, and observation initiatives for the Enrollment teams.
- Lead all new hire enrollment training and software/systems training for the enrollment teams.
- Develop and manage a training library that is accessible to enrollment leadership, special projects, and/or other duties as assigned.
- Conduct daily training, coaching, and continuous development programs for new and existing ECs, with a key focus on consistency, proactive efficiencies, overcoming objections, phone and in-person sales skills, referral techniques, systems use, product knowledge, process and procedures, customer service, etc.
- Identify Summit training, individual and group training opportunities and work with the Enrollment and Marketing management team and the VP of Enrollment to define and deliver.
- Collaborate with the Enrollment and Marketing management team and to provide successful new hire training as appropriate.
- Create and implement regular sales and process training to the Enrollment team.
- Facilitate annual/biannual update trainings between Enrollment and Academic Affairs.
Coaching, Documentation, and Triaging
- Support the Enrollment and Marketing management team and CAGS VP of Enrollment in maintaining a professional team environment.
- Demonstrate to new and existing EC’s how to successfully recruit more new students, how to develop strong follow-up skills, and convert undergraduate and graduate populations at high levels.
- Confer with management to develop and conduct surveys in order to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
- Guide ECs on the effective path and timing through proactive communication and setting deadlines to take a student from Lead to Enrollment.
- Perform weekly side by side monitoring with EC’s and provide/document improvement feedback, along with routine follow up to ensure application and success.
- Deliver one on one coaching to lead ECs to provide professional development in their role.
- Effectively maintain and provide documentation in response to standard and ad hoc requests for information from a variety of internal and external constituents in regards to high impact training, enhancements, follow up activities, and outcomes.
- Work effectively and positively with ECs, Enrollment and Marketing management team, and other administrators while establishing and maintaining effective positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with ECs, the Student Success team, Service Central, Information Systems and Technology and other departments with projects or recruitment training efforts.Serve as liaison for the Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling- College of Adult and Graduate Studies department.
- Update all resources, including those in our team resources in Connect as well as Mediaspace.
- Facilitate communication between Enrollment, Marketing, Service Central, Academic Affairs, and Student Success to continue to improve processes, procedures, and strategies for all parties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk; stand; sit; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; speak with clarity, have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. You may be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends.

Colorado Christian University’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity; along with budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Pay will be assigned based on relevant experience at a range of $60,000-$65,000 annually. We reserve the right to pay an equitable rate that we believe is within our salary structure or that may fit a candidate’s qualifications or experience for the job.
