About the Job 
  
The Campus IT Support Team Lead provides senior-level leadership and operational oversight for all Tier 1 and Tier 2 campus support services, including faculty, staff, in-seat students, guests, and administration. This technical leadership role ensures efficient service delivery aligned with ITSM principles, develops the support team through mentorship and performance management, and partners cross-functionally to advance technology adoption, improve service outcomes, and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction. This is a Tier 3 leadership position within the CCU Campus Technology Support team.

In this role, the Campus IT Support Team Lead contributes to the mission by ensuring that students, faculty, and staff are supported by reliable, responsive, and effective technology services that remove barriers to teaching, learning, and service. By leading a team that supports classroom technology, academic systems, and daily operational tools, this role empowers faculty to teach with excellence, enables staff to serve the University community efficiently, and helps students fully engage in their education without technical obstacles.   1. Lead the daily operations of the campus support team, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
  2.  service requests, and escalations.
  3. Provide technical and supervisory leadership to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support technicians, promoting adherence to SLAs and continuous improvement.
  4. Act as escalation point for unresolved issues, critical outages, or complex support cases.
  5. Assign and triage support tickets based on urgency, complexity, and team availability.
  6. Analyze service trends, ticket volume, and satisfaction metrics to drive operational and process improvements and report to the Director of Technical Support.
  7. Build and maintain SOPs and knowledge base articles to support efficient and standardized workflows.
  8. Report the development and refinement of KPIs, QA frameworks, and customer experience metrics to the Director of Technical Support.
  9. Represent end-user support in cross-functional IT projects including technology rollouts, upgrades, and vendor transitions.
  10. Manage vendor interactions related to campus support assets and services (e.g., the printer fleet and classroom AV).
  11. Participate in onboarding of new team members and facilitate ongoing training.
  12. Learn new technologies and perform other duties as assigned.
 Work Environment  
 
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. You may be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends. Colorado Christian University expects all faculty and staff to become a part of the University community by participating in activities and events that occur on the campus throughout the year, which may occur during evenings and weekends.

Colorado Christian University’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity; along with budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Pay will be assigned based on relevant experience at a range of $57,800-$63,000 annual salary. We reserve the right to pay an equitable rate that we believe is within our salary structure or that may fit a candidate’s qualifications or experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage range for a job offer. Spiritual Requirements

  1. Committed follower of Jesus Christ, who believes there is no salvation apart from faith in his atonement on the cross, by grace alone becoming "born again" thus beginning a personal relationship with Christ, the Son of God.
  2. Able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace. Must have a strong sense of calling to the ministry of Colorado Christian University.
  3. Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church. Knowledgeable about the Word of God and passionate about Christian education.
  4. Must be a traditional evangelical Christian whose lifestyle is in consonance with sound Christian principles, is compatible with CCU’s Statement of Faith, and is in agreement with the Strategic Priorities promulgated by the University.
