UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE 
CCS Fundraising is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial and future-oriented executive to lead Strategy & Operations for CCS Data Analytics and Systems & Change Management practices. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Strategy & Operations, this leader will manage a growing team at the forefront of innovation at CCS, providing dedicated focus to the ongoing expansion of this critical and fast-growing business priority. This newly created position will work closely with two practice leads and across nine regional teams to align efforts, optimize performance, and drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring strategic foresight and operational excellence to elevate brand awareness, increase market share, and achieve ambitious targets year over year. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to achieve long-term objectives while building and maintaining day-to-day effectiveness. 
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and strategic alignment, reporting findings to senior leaders at regular intervals. 
  • Drive creative strategies to enhance the sales pipeline and process, including prospect identification, proposal development and lead stewardship, for existing and new Data Analytics and Systems & Change Management service lines. 
  • Develop and execute a marketing and advertising plan that effectively communicates brand positioning and value proposition for CCS Data Analytics and Systems & Change Management practices. 
  • Engage with CCS regional teams to create and navigate tailored business development and marketing strategies. 
  • Conduct market scans to identify trends, opportunities for expansion, and the competitive landscape. 
  • Collaborate across internal CCS teams including Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and IT, maximizing operational efficiency and managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations. 
  • Develop and maintain annual budgets for Data Analytics and Systems & Change Management practices to ensure resources are allocated effectively. 
  • Build and manage relationships with external vendors and strategic partners. 
  • Execute an internal communication strategy to ensure all CCS team members are educated around Data Analytics and Systems & Change Management services, including data-informed case studies for internal and external use. 
  • Manage a team of four or more strategy & operations professionals including marketing, business development, operations and administration. 

REQUIRED SKILLS 

  • Master of Business Administration or related degree 
  • 7+ years professional experience in business strategy and development, marketing, business operations, or related field 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Keen ability to problem-solve 
  • Experience with strategic planning, KPIs and metrics, data analysis 
  • Experience supporting the launch of new service lines 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRMs 
  • Familiarity with Monday, Canva, In Design, or related project management and design tools a plus 
  • Demonstrated commitment or interest in the nonprofit sector through professional, volunteer, or personal experience 
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including regular in-person attendance at key CCS office locations as needed
