UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE

CCS Fundraising is seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee the strategic and operational management of our immigration, leaves, and accommodations programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role involves developing and implementing policies, streamlining processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to support employees' needs quickly and effectively. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Immigration Management

  • Manage all aspects of the firm’s immigration processes, including visa applications (H-1B, L-1, green cards, etc.), renewals, and compliance with local, federal, and international regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and external legal counsel regarding immigration-related matters.
  • Track immigration statuses and maintain accurate records to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
  • Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning related to global mobility and immigration.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and transitions for international hires and transferees.

Leave & Accommodation Administration

  • Administer employee leave programs such as FMLA, short-term and long-term disability, parental leave, and other company-specific leave policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers regarding leave requests, eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work processes.
  • Maintain and manage employee interaction with our leave vendor (Sparrow).
  • Oversee the interactive process for employees requesting workplace accommodations under the ADA, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with payroll and external vendors to properly track leave entitlements and pay adjustments.
  • Monitor and report on leave trends and recommend improvements to policies and processes.

Policy Development and Communication

  • Develop and maintain corporate policies and procedures related to immigration, leave management, and accommodations. 
  • Conduct training for managers and employees on relevant programs, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and leave regulations to ensure corporate compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with managers, HR, and legal teams to evaluate, implement, and document reasonable accommodations while balancing business needs and employee well-being
  • Act as a liaison between HR, legal, payroll, and external service providers to streamline immigration and leave processes.
  • Provide excellent employee support, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the immigration and leave processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in immigration management and leave administration.
  • Deep knowledge of immigration laws, procedures, and compliance requirements (e.g., USCIS, DOL).
  • Familiarity with federal and state leave laws, including FMLA and ADA.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with HRIS, ADP preferable.

SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $90,000
 
The exact salary varies within range based on years of relevant experience and education.
