Deal Desk Analyst

The Deal Desk Analyst is responsible for providing support to the sales organization on all renewal and new business deal related matters. This Analyst will be actively working with sales, legal, finance, product, and other cross functional teams on deal structuring and commercial terms for all non-standard transactions. The Analyst will be responsible for maximizing retention by partnering with Customer Success Managers and Sales reps to ensure renewal contracts are prepared & sent to customers early.

The Deal Desk Analyst will work with various business stakeholders to provide critical insight into Catchpoint’s customer base while supporting day-to-day operations. The Analyst will be heavily involved in growing and scaling the business, while managing activities that support client retention. This position reports to the Deal Desk Manager as part of the Business Operations team.



  • Manage a pipeline of sales renewal opportunities
  • Create & edit contracts and ensure they follow Catchpoint’s company rules and guidelines
  • Execute on the contract renewal strategy & be responsible for the notification and tracking of expiring contracts
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success & Sales teams to prepare contracts in advance to ensure early or on-time renewals
  • Send renewal contracts to customers via Adobe Sign for electronic signature
  • Act as a sales-facing subject matter expert on process, policy, and pricing related matters
  • Govern and analyze pricing, discounts, and review contract terms
  • Ensure a seamless progression of deals through the quote and approval stage by escalating non-standard pricing, discounts, and legal terms for approval
  • Serve as the trusted adviser to sales and CSM teams on all renewal and new business deal related matters, advise the team on alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive  faster deal closures
  • Helps Sales reps navigate Salesforce CPQ to produce accurate quotes and contracts that lead to successful wins
  • Complete ad-hoc business operations projects as required
  • Identify process and system improvements in the quote-to-cash process, turn those recommendations into functional requirements, and work with the CRM team to get the projects built, tested, and released.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ is preferred
  • 5+ Years experience working with Sales teams in a deal desk or commercial-selling function
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with sales reps and internal teams, and cultivate internal relationships with all levels of the sales organization across all regions in the world
