Project Finance Senior Analyst / Renewable Energy

We are seeking a Project Finance Sr Analyst to join our small but growing Project Finance team and help analyze and improve our solar and storage projects from origination through construction and into the operational phase.

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Project Financial Modeling: Analyzing projects in multiple jurisdictions with a range of incentive programs, under both current and future financing strategies;
  • Financial Structuring: Developing tailored financing solutions for commercial real estate partners and other counterparties; 
  • Collaborating across our organization, including with our Origination, Acquisition, Project Development, Engineering and Asset Management teams, and with our external partners;
  • Translating new financial models into replicable model structures with our software engineering team.
  • Continuously improve upon existing processes and models and perform QA/QC across project financial modeling
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting
  • Additional duties as required
What You Bring to Catalyze:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related academic field
  • 2+ years of experience in renewable energy (solar preferred) or a related field
  • Very strong Excel modeling skills, including building and operating models, with project finance modeling experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working on multiple high-value projects while prioritizing effectively, managing competing expectations, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, multitasking, and problem resolution

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act,  New York City Salary Transparency Law and California Pay Transparency Law, Catalyze provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado,  New York City or California. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado,  New York City, NY and California  only, the range of starting pay for this role is $105,000 to $130,000 USD.
