Corporate IT Systems Engineer:

Castlight is looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to work with a team in a hybrid Microsoft/Google environment with Apple and Windows endpoints. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth with cloud identity and access management (Hybrid Active Directory and Google Cloud IAM) and endpoint management (Jamf and Desktop Central), as well as excellent customer service skills. You’ll be a perfect fit for this role if you are self-driven to improve technical environments and driven by the desire to work with your colleagues to make technology work for them.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining Corporate IT environment, which includes:
    • Endpoint management
    • Windows & Linux based servers
    • Support for corporate VoIP and Video Conferencing Solutions (Zoom/Teams/WebEx)
  • Manage support requests through various mediums, such as phone, instant message, email, and ticket queue
  • Work with vendors, consultants, and other technical advisors to implement, manage, and fix endpoint systems
  • Develop and promote user documentation, training, and self-service to guide end users on how to resolve any issue without direct involvement with IT
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and be the first point of contact for all after hour escalations
  • Plan and perform quarterly patch management on corporate endpoints
  • Effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals and conduct work within a professional setting
  • Testing, evaluating, and implementing new technology
  • Enforce and escalate security issues according to company policy
  • Develop and maintain corporate policies and procedures and interact with security auditors

Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or IT service engineering
  • Endpoint management solutions experience (JAMF/Desktop Central)
  • Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), including MFA and SSO
  • Experience supporting and administering O365
  • Knowledge of the following operating systems:
    • MacOS (11+)
    • Windows OS (10)
    • Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
    • Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS)
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple operational demands and projects with deadlines
  • Able to effectively work cross functionally
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Able to follow verbal and documented procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work after normal business hours as IT needs dictate
  • Must be able to lift and deploy computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions across Microsoft domains
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • Domain services (AD, DNS, DHCP)
    • VPN and MFA
    • Jira (Task management)
    • Confluence (Knowledge base)
    • Asset management
  • Managing SaaS Applications (Office 365 & Google Apps)
  • Large-scale deployment of new hardware and software to end-users
  • Backup solutions (CrashPlan/Druva)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
