Cascade is looking for an Accounting Manager with construction accounting experience. Candidate will work closely with project teams to review project estimates direct costs and GM analysis. Responsibilities include WIP (PoC) preparation review job cost reports for budget variances job accruals journal entries. Prepare time/labor reports for payroll processing. AR - AIA progress billings assist with collections. Experience with fixed cost plus and T&M contracts required. Federal contracts (FAR) experience along with SCA/DB prevailing wage knowledge preferred.Â
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Full understanding of GAAP including but not limited to thorough understanding of construction accounting WIP payroll/labor accounts payable accounts receivable/collections general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Proficient at MS Word Excel Access and Power Point.
Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
4+ years of construction accounting experience required.
