Position at TerraTherm, Inc.

The Duties of the remediation Plant Maintenance Technician  are to include monitoring and maintenance of the process equipment, data collections, and maintenance of soil vapor extraction and groundwater liquid extraction systems. Equipment maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of various items used through the process and treatment system.  Liquid and Vapor sampling will also be performed periodically along with the need to perform physical exertions including lifting light to medium weight (up to 50 lbs.), pushing, pulling, climbing stairs or ladders, and other construction/maintenance activities for shifts ranging 8-12 hours in duration.  A Plant Maintenance Technician will need to submit equipment service reports and daily reports to the project team and must be able to communicate with both the project team and clients in a professional manner.

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently self-manage
  • Have respect for diversity and ability to collaborate with others
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PDF required
  • Have flexibility to work under changing conditions and various weather conditions
  • Have Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Experience with Instrumentation & Controls - a plus
  • Understanding or experience with PLC interface and control systems – a plus
  • Understanding or experience working with Electrical and use of 3-phase electrical motors a plus
  • Chemical handling and compatibility experience and knowledge – a plus
  • Ability to operate forklifts, skid steer, manlift or willing to learn to operate
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and annual physical, and pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to pass a company paid 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER course at 1 ½ times the hourly rate. There are times when the company requests that an operator extend his/her time from home dependent on site needs.  Flexible employees regarding extended time away from home are extremely beneficial to meeting our company’s goals.
