Job Details
CARFAX Canada is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the managing, maintaining, and monitoring our systems and services including network, Virtual Machines and cloud systems using best practices, security first mindset and continual improvement techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong communications and customer service skills, with proven technical capabilities in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Management and support of Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Active Directory, MS Dynamics CRM, Dynamics GP, SharePoint Exchange Online, OneDrive, Cisco IronPort, etc.
- Management and support of Azure cloud systems such as Virtual Machines, enterprise applications, and SAML
- Management of the network and Palo Alto firewalls
- Management of endpoints with MDM Intune, JAMF, and Windows Admin Center
- Management of Crowdstrike, Defender 365, and Tanium
- Enforcing network and endpoint security and usage policies
- Working closely with Security Ops on incidents and alerts
- Contribute to projects on a technical level for the organization
- Providing customer support for IT related issues
Education and Experience Required:
- Post-secondary degree or Diploma in Computer Science
- Minimum of 5 years of prior practical technical experience supporting users in a corporate environment
- Must have extensive skills in Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint administration experience
- Experience with Powershell for server and client management
- Experience with endpoint security protection such as Crowdstrike and Defender 365
- Experience with patch management tools such as Intune, JAMF, PatchMyPC, and Tanium
- Experience with network configuration and support
- Strong technical skills relating to multiple mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
- Experience with desktop and application management using Intune, JAMF, and PatchMyPC
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Zoom, Zoom Phone and Zoom Room administration and support experience
- Experience supporting Mac computers an asset
- Willingness to learn new systems and vendors as needed
