CARFAX is looking for an experienced and passionate inside sales leader to inspire, coach and take our inside sales team to the next level. In this position you are responsible for leading the inside sales team to achieve established goals in a highly energetic sales and metrics-driven environment. This role requires proven leadership experience that inspires inside sales teams to exceed goals and be their best. Excellent sales acumen and the ability to collaborate with peers across the organization is a must!

As a Director - Inside Sales you will:

  • Be responsible for hands-on management of the inside sales team to achieve established goals
  • Drive a consistently high level of effective outbound sales activity
  • Motivate, educate and train the inside sales team through daily huddles, weekly trainings and monthly recap sessions to ensure cohesion and strong performance within the team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across the business to identify strategies to achieve company goals
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting metrics to evaluate progress and identify challenges to drive decision-making
  • Develop and manage department budgets, compensation and expenses

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience managing high-performing and successful inside sales teams
  • Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding both individual and team sales goals
  • Experience hiring and scaling an inside sales organization effectively
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a dynamic and diverse inside sales team with a focus on continually driving improved performance through hands-on, day-to-day management
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves as this is a hands-on position, as well as a strategic one
  • The ability and desire to create and try new strategies driving ideas from concept to execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work inter-departmentally
  • Proficiency with is required
  • This role will require the ability to work in the Centreville, VA office 3 days per week
