Note: Must currently reside on the West Coast. This position requires nationwide travel.  
 
What you’ll be doing:  
  • Partner with National Account Managers to actively promote CARFAX products and benefits to prospective and existing mega dealers and groups; 
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships inside and outside of CARFAX; 
  • Play a key role in supporting National Account Manager retention efforts by developing and delivering customized presentations for strategic prospects and national accounts; 
  • Support continuous improvement of CARFAX sales team materials by providing dealer feedback and/or concerns; 
  • Represent CARFAX at strategic dealer industry events.  
What we’re looking for:  
  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales with demonstrated success as a top performer 
  • Ability to gain trust of co-workers and customers with demonstrated knowledge and expertise 
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills 
  • Strong closing skills and ability to articulate past success in this area 
  • A demonstrated team player 
  • Automotive industry sales experience is preferred 
  • Experience with CRM applications (Salesforce), Dealer DMS and online inventory sites preferred 
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time
