We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the marketing strategy, messaging, and go-to-market for CARFAX Service Loyalty and our other service-related offerings in the Dealer Business Unit. You will work with one of the world’s most trusted brands and a wealth of data no other company possesses – the foundation for solutions already used by tens of thousands of car dealers and service shops.
In this role, you will be the product marketing owner for our service portfolio. You will define how we position the value of these products, build the go-to-market plans that bring them to dealers, and run the programs that grow our sales pipeline and drive strategic growth for the company.
You will partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Business Development, and Partner Development and Rep Enablement.
What You Will Do
1. Own Product Positioning & Messaging
- Define the core positioning and value propositions for CARFAX Service Loyalty and other service offerings so sales, web, and marketing all tell one consistent, compelling story.
- Ground messaging in customer data, dealer service department needs, and field feedback, and refine it as products and the market evolve.
2. Lead Go-to-Market Strategy & Launches
- Build go-to-market strategies that maximize CARFAX’s unique routes to market and the impact on our customers.
- Lead product launches from plan to post-launch review: define target dealers, goals, and timelines, and lead creation of the product assets needed to support the portfolio strategy.
3. Drive Awareness, Pipeline & Sales
- Plan and run campaigns that raise awareness, establish CARFAX as a thought leader in the service space, and generate leads and sales.
- Use customer data and prior results to target the right prospects, measure performance, and apply what you learn to the next campaign.
4. Equip Sales & Partners to Win
- Partner with sales and partner development leaders to shape enablement programs and core sales assets that appeal to our target audiences and support the sales strategy.
- Provide clear messaging and launch direction to the GTM & Field Enablement team so field tools and training stay on-message.
5. Drive Cross-Functional Alignment
- Communicate marketing plans, priorities, and results to leadership and stakeholders across Sales, Product Management, and Business Development.
- Bring the voice of the dealer and the market into product and business discussions so plans stay aligned with what customers need.
What Success Looks Like
- Sales, web, and marketing use one clear, consistent story for CARFAX Service Loyalty and our service offerings.
- Launch on time and hit adoption and sales goals.
- Deliver measurable growth in leads, pipeline, and sales.
- Reps and partners can confidently explain the value of our service products to dealers.
- Leadership and cross-functional partners are aligned on plans, priorities, and results.
What We Are Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in the automotive industry, or in marketing or sales in a scaled B2B environment.
- Automotive Service Expert: You have deep automotive industry knowledge, particularly within the Dealer Service Department, and keep up with modern practices and platforms.
- Sales-Minded: You have worked in a sales-driven organization and deliver on marketing, sales, and business goals with a sense of urgency.
- Data-Driven: You use customer data and prior learnings to build targeted campaigns, measure results, and improve future efforts.
- Creative Storyteller: You are naturally curious and turn creative, out-of-the-box ideas into effective messaging and campaigns.
- Strong Communicator: You build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the company.
- Builder: You are energized by the opportunity to build something lasting and deliver high-quality, thoughtful work.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations determined by location and subject to change based on evolving business needs.
This position is open to applicants who are currently authorized to work in the United States and will not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $157,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
