Regional Account Manager - Team Lead (West Coast)
 
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is the point of contact for dealer subscribers, responsible for overall customer retention and increasing usage of CARFAX products. The RAM Team Lead is an elevated role with expanded duties related to coaching and training fellow teammates within a region.
 
As a Regional Account Manager Team Lead, you will:
  • Be responsible for managing relationships and driving revenue growth with existing dealer subscribers within assigned territory
  • Market and resell CARFAX products to existing subscribers within assigned territory
  • Increase dealer awareness, engagement and retention by building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Actively sell CARFAX marketing and incentive programs to subscribers, increasing awareness of product value
  • Overcome objections through benefit and value added selling techniques
  • Assist Field Service Director in a staff development/coaching role within assigned territory
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Requirements: 
  • Minimum 12 months service on the Field Service Team as a Regional Account Manager
  • Positive Game Plan results for a minimum of 4 consecutive quarters
  • Results ranked in the “Top 3rd” of the team for 4 consecutive quarters
  • Demonstrated experience managing & retaining key accounts
  • 3+ years field sales & service experience, preferably in the retail automotive industry
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and proven leadership skills
  • Goal oriented and results focused with the ability to work independently
  • Effectively collaborate in a team environment to achieve results
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to unexpected circumstances on the fly
  • Ability to persuade & influence others through demonstrated product knowledge
  • Excellent computer skills (MS office, Salesforce, Dealer DMS, online inventory sites) including working from an iPad
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive a vehicle to customer locations for 8 hours each day, entering and exiting the vehicle regularly to conduct onsite customer meetings
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  • 100% daily territory travel, some overnights required
  • Additional overnight travel required - approx. 25 to 40% as needed
