About the role

We are looking for an Associate Digital Project Manager to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting time to join, as the company is heading into a growth phase, which means you will be given the opportunity to thrive in an engaging and fast-paced environment, and to make a difference on an everyday basis. The role would suit someone with previous digital / digital agency experience who is looking to hone their PM and AM skills in a hybrid role.

Key responsibilities and day to day activities

  • Working across multiple complex projects to implement our software whilst developing your skills to lead
  • Providing outstanding support to project managers and directors
  • Managing clients’ requirements across configuration, implementation, launch and post-launch of software
  • Assisting and occasionally leading meetings, presentations, product demonstrations and training directly with clients
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts
  • A determined and resourceful approach to problem-solving technical challenges
  • Helping implement client requests for innovation or change to existing platforms, including providing direction to development and QA teams and other vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Helping to deliver launch meetings / demonstrations / on-boarding and end-user training of the platform to clients via teleconference and occasionally in person (occasional travel to Europe and US)
  • Supporting wider new business activity by contributing to proposals and joining pitches
  • Developing impeccable project management skills, including financial forecasting and reporting
  • Eliciting business and functional requirements from clients with other business analysts and product managers.

Experience

  • Hybrid project management and account management skills; you should be able to apply different approaches appropriately to achieve results
  • A commercial mindset; you will nurture business opportunities with your clients and work with our commercial team to grow accounts
  • A customer focused approach to everything you do
  • Client-facing skills – diplomacy, confidence and persuasiveness
  • A team-player approach, able to take initiative for you own independent work and learning – alongside the skills to delegate to others and mentor new team members where appropriate
  • Aptitude with technology and a drive to become an expert in our platforms
  • An understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills; highly numerate and able to analyse data in Excel
  • A solutions-based attitude.
