We are seeking a Video Editor to join our team and enhance Nama’s Brand Experience efforts through compelling video content. This role involves creating high-quality product videos, support tutorials, social media video ads and reels, and captivating short to medium length documentaries. As a key member of our video production department, you will collaborate closely at times with the Director of Content Production to brainstorm, conceptualize, and meticulously plan out each video project, ensuring alignment with our brand's vision and objectives.   
The Video Editor will be responsible for the entire post-production process, including editing visuals and audio, creating simple motion graphics, final color correction, sound mix, and delivering final exports to create impactful videos that resonate with our audience. Additionally, this role entails the management and organization of all video files and related assets, ensuring efficient workflow and accessibility. While creative direction will often be established, there will be opportunities for the Video Editor to exercise their creative freedom and contribute ideas that align with the brand.   
Do you want the following responsibilities?   
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver videos that are creative, useful, and align with technical and brand standards.
  • Work closely with the Director of Content Production; take ideas from concept to execution, working with marketing, project managers, design colleagues, information technologists, and content experts to deliver effective video content. 
  • Edit crucial support video content to support the launch of new, innovative products.
  • Conceptualize and deliver engaging social media ads.
  • Conceptualize and deliver brand aligned instagram / tiktok reels
  • Deliver rough draft edits of short to medium length documentaries.
  • Complete final sound mix on a variety of videos with different deliverable formats.
  • Export and optimize final files for multiple formats: web, youtube, vimeo, instagram, tiktok etc. 
  • Edit multi-camera educational courses.
  • Create engaging lower thirds and motion graphics to support video content.
  • Creating audio and video libraries based on existing assets. Manage and organize a vast library of assets in a clear, easy to access database.
Do you meet these requirements?   
  • At least 3+ years professional experience in video post-production. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in film production or related field preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Audition.
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Based in Southern California – mostly remote work but with ability to travel to LA County area.
    • Experience in the Health and Wellness space is a plus. 
    • Design and Typography experience also a plus.

Salary is $70,000 - 85,000 per year depending on experience
