The Position

We are seeking a Product Operations Associate to join our highly-motivated team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and for the planet. 

This will be a 6-month contract. Upon the completion of the contract terms, an extension or conversion will be evaluated. 

What you get to do: 

  • You will be responsible for preparing content and setting up our upcoming behavioral energy efficiency campaigns and products.
  • You will create content, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications to effectively communicate design concepts to your squad and customers.
  • You will work directly with clients to curate content and consult on methods to drive customer engagement. 
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our direct mail and digital campaigns. 
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally with account management, customer support, and customers to ensure product alignment and effectiveness and provide the highest quality customer experience. 
  • You will build a close and collaborative relationship with your agile squad: your operations manager, operations analysts, and technical operations analysts, to define and achieve product objectives and deliverables.
  • You will apply critical thinking to assess the “why” behind every problem to create a meaningful solution or improve the process.

What you bring to Uplight: 

  • 1-3 years experience in the technology, marketing, and/or energy industry in a production-facing setting.
  • Orientation to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers. 
  • Excellent organization and planning skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully with cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience identifying process gaps and take the initiative to make impactful improvements. 
  • Self-starter mentality and ability to work with minimal guidance. 
  • Curiosity to learn and learn fast. 

Bonus Points: 

  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Basic HTML skills and CMS experience.
  • Experience using Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau or Looker. 
  • Digital agency experience. 
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with ticket management and CRM tools like ZenDesk and Salesforce. 
  • Proficiency with marketing automation software like Marketo, HubSpot, and Sendgrid 
  • Experience measuring the performance of direct mail and digital campaigns. 
  • Understanding of digital performance metrics including delivery, open, click spam rates, and how to make adjustments to campaigns to increase those metrics.
