Description

The Senior Software Engineer will lead the Information Technology (IT) team by delivering software engineering knowledge, skills, capabilities, and principles to implement modern and Next Generation (NexGen) IT solutions and applying (.NET Core and Vue.js).

 *The individual selected for this position must have strong leadership skills. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead development team by implementing detailed design, documentation, coding, code optimization, unit testing, code deployment, and code improvements. With (.NET Core and Vue.js) for multiple software products.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Gather, analyze, spearhead solutions design, development, code reviews, test automation, and implementation.
  • Ensure all software code is developed and maintained in accordance with U.S. Government (USG) Information Assurance (IA) and Security (INFOSEC) standards, policies, and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience securely developing software products
  • Demonstrated ability by actively programming and debugging with modern languages to include .NET, Core and Vue.js related programs.
  • Experience implementing life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy).
  • Must adhere to U.S. Government Information Assurance and Security standards such as the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)).
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to team members, lead application architecture discussions and decisions, and train and mentor less experienced software developers.
  • Ability to manage changes in product priority and balance their impact on ongoing development efforts.
* The Senior level position shall oversee the efforts of less senior staff and be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to this effort.

Security Clearance:

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
