About the role

  • Deliver product and application training, both in person and remotely, and keep the sales force up to date with the latest technical knowledge
  • Lead or participate in regional demand creation activities: identify local needs, drive gap definition and gap closure, build relationships with influencers and define the customer value proposition for each application

  • Select, develop and implement competitive gas engine product solutions that meet customer needs

  • Identify customer needs to support the preparation of the product program or drive the technical special release process for non-standard products and applications
  • Support New Product Initiative (NPI) projects with voice-of-customer and packager input, and assist NPI, Product Management and Product Line Management to drive commercial success
  • Take part in customer presentations, discussions, negotiations and all front-line efforts, and present Waukesha solutions at customer events and trade fairs
  • Support the development and maintenance of sales manuals, sales tools and packager/user tools (e.g. technical specifications, electrical and mechanical check lists, project calculation tool, product configurator, packaging guides, tech data, outline drawings, Portal materials, WKI, EngCalc)
  • Support the Waukesha sales team and business in achieving new unit order and revenue targets
  • Train Waukesha solution providers to become more self-sufficient in generating the project documentation they need without application engineering involvement
