The Opportunity
Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a motivated Leasing Professional to join our team at Montfort Place Apartments in Dallas.
We're looking for someone with strong sales and customer service skills who can build relationships, follow up effectively, and help turn prospects into residents while providing an exceptional experience.
New to apartment leasing? That's okay. Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or another people-focused role can provide a great foundation for this position.

What You'll Do

  • Greet and assist prospective and current residents

  • Conduct apartment tours and showcase available homes and amenities

  • Guide prospects through the leasing process from inquiry to move-in

  • Follow up consistently with prospects and help drive occupancy

  • Prepare lease documents and maintain accurate records

  • Use Yardi Voyager and CRM tools to manage leasing activity

  • Support resident retention and overall property performance

  • Maintain a welcoming and professional leasing environment

What We're Looking For

  • Customer service or sales experience; apartment leasing experience is a plus

  • Strong sales and customer service skills

  • Ability to build rapport and confidently ask for the lease

  • Professional, engaging, and dependable

  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through

  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Yardi Voyager or property management software experience is a plus

  • Valid driver's license

  • Flexibility to work the property's leasing schedule, including every Saturday
