From Intern to Engineer to Marketing Manager
I started as a production engineer in the Liquid Value Stream. I ultimately found the perfect fit for me as a sales account manager, working with customers to plan and execute new items and promotional programs. My education and experience in engineering did not limit me to engineering roles, but rather gave me a deeper understanding of the company that could be leveraged in different career paths.

I transitioned departments from marketing to sales to operations, and felt supported in every role along the way. Leading in the Military and at Perrigo
I joined the Army after high school and served our country in a single deployment in Iraq and twice more in Afghanistan. My military leadership roles and training courses translate well to my civilian life, and I use these skills daily as a Quality Control Supervisor at Perrigo Michigan Holland. Making Every Minute Count
As a nutrition project manager for toddler foods and electrolyte solutions at Perrigo Virginia, I travel domestically to assist our sites with line improvements and product commercialization. I recently became a third shift supervisor before becoming a first shift supervisor in tablet manufacturing. A Tale from Tanzania
Analytical Research and Development (AR&D) employees pooled together their resources to provide medicine from the company store to two Michigan researchers involved in combating lymphatic filariasis (LF), also known as “elephantiasis,” in Africa. The researchers shared that our donated Perrigo products were well received and very much appreciated. I feel very fortunate to work for a company that makes so many affordable, quality healthcare products.

My husband and I wanted to help a Mississippi family who lost their home in hurricane Katrina. My friends at Perrigo are always telling me they like my baked goods, so I made 13 pies and cakes and brought them to work, selling slices to help fund the trip. I was blown away by the caliber of caring people who work for our organization. We took the trip, working with a team of Kalamazoo area people who, completed the home over the course of one month.
Getting More from Life
Perrigo helped me accomplish my goal to earn a Master’s in Business Administration by assisting in my education from both a financial perspective and with schedule flexibility. Using what I learned while obtaining my advanced degree as well as on-the-job development, I have been given many opportunities to experience different departments and roles while at Perrigo. Along the way Perrigo has rewarded me fairly for assuming more responsibility, and management continues to encourage my personal development.
