- Perform specific operational duties, as assigned, at each event. Duties may include start, course, finish setup/breakdown, t-shirt, ribbon, or water distribution, officials’ support, bib pickup, family reunion, results, and crowd management.
- Support youth activities based of the Rising New York Road Runners philosophy (training will be provided) at youth and community events.
- Attend virtual and in-person meetings throughout the year to understand the operations of our youth and community events.
- Help with the set-up and breakdown of the event.
- Ability to follow directions and execute them properly
- Ability to lift and move event equipment as needed
- Initiative to work independently while simultaneously maintaining a team focus
- Ability to relate to and work with diverse populations is essential
- Heart, humor and a commitment to our organizational mission and vision
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Experience in running at any level, including recreational, is preferred
- Travel frequently to various locations throughout NYC on day of events
- Work several weekend days throughout the year with early morning start times and/or several weekday early mornings from March-June, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Ability to lift 25lbs.

Hourly Rate: $22.00
NYRR requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
