Sr. Financial Analyst - Revenue

This position will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis including the annual budget, forecast, variance analysis, financial modeling, and other needs as necessary

• Prepare robust monthly forecasts and annual budgets for revenue and student enrollment, utilizing advanced financial modeling techniques
• Partner with business owners on a regular basis to assist in budget/forecast updates, variance explanations, ROI analysis, and to provide support in operational changes
• Present findings on month end variances, budget/forecast projections, and ad hoc analysis to senior level executives on a regular basis
• Conduct profitability analysis for new programs, tuition discounts, capital expenditures and other strategic initiatives
• Other ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
• Reasonable and consistent attendance to fulfill requirements of the position

• Knowledge of financial and accounting computer applications
• Knowledge of General Ledger structure and GAAP accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Power Pivot and Power Query
• Knowledge and understanding of building models with sensitivity analysis and checks that allow flexibility and ensure accuracy
• Skill in oral, written and interpersonal communication, along with adept problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities as a high energy, ambitious, self-starter
• Strong organizational and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite

• Bachelor's degree with focus in Finance or Accounting required
• Master's degree with focus in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience focused on budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis, with the ability to summarize quantitative detail into narrative information required
• Experience in higher education preferred
• Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred

This position operates in a remote, home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones
